Lisa Pollard was born in Melbourne in 1969, and now works and lives in Newcastle. Pollard studied art in Brisbane, Sydney, London and Newcastle. Pollard worked in education for thirteen years and is also a trained Yoga & meditation teacher & Mindfulness-based stress reduction facilitator with more than twenty seven  years of self-practice and teaching experience. Pollard has been exhibiting her paintings up and down the East coast of Australia and in many group shows in Sydney and The Hunter Valley Region, since 2001. Lisa has a strong interest in design and enjoys seeing her creative pursuits transferred into designs, collaborating with Shop Vida and  Society6.
